Lea started playing the harp at age 9 in Honolulu, Hawaii. By age 12, she was already teaching her own students and presenting student harp recitals twice a year. She has a Bachelor of Music Degree in Harp Performance from BYU and CSULA. She also holds a music teaching credential for grades K-12, specializing in elementary music and Orff-Schulwerk. Over the years Lea has taught music in the public school system, created and administered school harp programs, and sponsored Summer Harp Camps in Southern California.
Lea has experience with beginning to advanced students of all ages, on all types of harps, (lever and pedal) and with all styles of music. She specializes in Adult Beginners
